This is pathetic…No wonder after the Super Nes nintendo fell miserably. It was because of fanboys like you! Fanboys that demanded retarded games.
After the Super Nes, they realized nintendo fans wanted kiddy games, that’s why N64 delivered crap to every shitty nintendo fan out there. Morons like you were the inspiration for the worst consoles of all times! N64, Gamecube and WII.

I will always love my nes and snes as well as all the systems i have, but people like you, asking for idiotic games, will bring along the downfall of nintendo!

BTW: Sports, racing, action, beat em ups and shoot em ups were better on genesis by far.
I love Snes because of its Rpgs, fighting and platform games.
All in all, both machines rule. On the other hand you suck.

Better games? They were better publicized. Try Sonic 1-3 + K, Herzog Zwei, Gunstar Heroes, Bloodlines, Contra: HC, Virtua Racing, Phantasy Star II-IV, SITD + Shining Force 1 & 2, Space Harrier, Rocket Knight Adventures, RoS & Shinobi III, OutRun, Streets of Rage, Dynamite Headdy, Vectorman 1 & 2, Alien Storm, Strider, X-Men + Clone Wars, Aladdin, Ristar, etc.

In addition, alot of the best games on the SNES – Earthworm Jim, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat I-III, etc. – were also on Genesis, and it had great PC ports, like Pirates! and Dune, as well as some great CD/32x games, like Star Wars Trilogy Arcade and Virtua Fighter II. If you’re going to hate, atleast try knowing the source material.

You forgot to mention Mr.David Wise’s music. Aquatic Ambiance, Stickerbrush Symphony and every other song he made for the DKC series is far greater then every song in rpg’s / other snes games that you mentioned in that list.

yea whatever, the SNES was released 2 years after the genesis, they had all the damned time in the world to design a better model. The genesis had over 700 games in its library and the snes had 1000, i agree with more games, but BETTER? no, sega had many good franchises, SOR, shinobi, SONIC, etc. because the snes was targeted at younger audiences, many games were changed, mortal combat had censored blood while the genesis version made SNES fanboys drool.

I do agree with the better music, the genesis audio was as primitive as an 8 bit machine, but its port of rock n roll racers had decent music, and it had michael jackson’s moonwalker. controllers? wow, the genesis controllers were cool, thank you very much, and used the 9 pin adaptor so it was compatible with a wide variety of home computers and consoles, the SNES? its in its own little world…

And graphics, yes the SNES has beautiful graphics, but again, it was released 2 years after the genesis, (look at the ps3 and 360). But back on the NES times, it was truly Genesis does what Nintendon’t

Sonic The Hedgehog 1-3, Streets of rage 1-3, Golden Axe 1-3, Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star 1-4, Shining Force 1-2, Mutant League Football, Mutant League Hockey, Strider 1-2, Revenge of Shinobi, Shinobi 3, Shadow Dancer, Vectorman 1-2, Landstalker, TMTN: The Hypersone Heist, Eternal Champions, Contra: Hard Corps, Castlevania:Bloodlines, Columns, Alien Solider, Altered Beast, Comix Zone, General Chaos and Sword Of Vermillion. Stick your Sonic spinball up your ass, because you don’t know jackshit. Nintendo fans cooler? Are you serious? Oh my god. Sega Genesis had pretty graphics and music too.
