Top 10 Most Powerful Superheroes of All Time
Here it is folks, the biggest debate on the whole interweb. Never has there been a more well thought out argument for a completely non-existent thing. Which superhero could beat up which other superhero. Never has a group of people spent more time drawing graphs, doing calculations, making charts, and writing computer programs to prove that the hero they love is in fact the toughest. These people do more literature searches than a graduate student writing their dissertation on literature. One can only imagine what world problems could be solved if comic book nerds would instead focus this same energy on say; poverty, healthcare, the climate, pollution, the economy, childhood obesity, cancer, sudden infant death syndrome, racism, genetic disorders, violence against women, the melting ice caps, sending a man to mars, depression, solving Goldbach’s conjecture, creating a unified field theory, un-raveling the mystery of DNA, figuring out what happened before the big bang, resolving religious tensions in the Middle East, finding peace on Earth, making cleaner cars, sustainable energy, nuclear fission, getting rid of hippies, and the million other things that would make this world a better place to live in.
So in order to finish this debate once and for all we here at OW have finally finished THE list of the most powerful superheros. This is it folks. As every faithful reader knows that we here at OW are always right, we have proved it in the past. There can no longer be any debate. No more argument required. This list has taken us years to complete, and has threatened to destroy all that is OW. While making this list there was lots arguing, name calling, some shouting, a little bit of snuggling, more shouting, lots of your momma’s, but we finally came up with the definitive list of the most powerful superheroes of all time. We can’t be more clear on that last point, this is it. None of what you are about to read is opinion, it is fact. Next time one of your nerd buddies starts to argue you need only refer to this list, kindly pat him the head a give him one of the problems listed above to argue about. Here’s how we did it. First we excluded all super villains, this is heroes only, next we eliminated all exorbitantly overpowered cosmic beings (Phoenix, Odin, or the Highfather). And finally we ignored all heroes that would be considered ‘normal’ but have similar powers as those listed below. Then we plugged in all the facts and figures into the OW super computer and waited. Exactly 137 days later the answer was spit out. It then took us one year to figure out what that answer meant. Finally its over these are the most powerful superheroes. Fact.
10. The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Despite coming in at number 10, The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) is one tough hombre. As a member of the Green Lantern Corps, he wields a power ring that can generate a variety of effects and energy constructs, sustained purely by the ring wearer’s strength of will. The greater the user’s willpower, the more effective the ring. The limits of the power ring’s abilities are never defined, but it has been referred to as “the most powerful weapon in the universe” on more than one occasion. It’s precious. Over the years, the ring has been shown capable of accomplishing almost anything within the imagination of the ring bearer. Often the rings are used to form solid-light constructs, the power and size of which are limited only by the ring-bearer’s willpower. And, if that wasn’t powerful enough, DC recently (in 2006) retconned the ring’s longtime lack of effect on yellow objects, stating that the ring-bearer need only feel fear and overcome it in order to affect yellow objects. With his protective bubbles and mean green energy bursts, the Green Lantern has fought with, and at varying times against, such heavyweights as Superman and Captain Marvel. But he’s still no match for number 9 on our list…9. Professor X
So how does someone whose Kryptonite is stairs make it onto the list of the ten most powerful superheroes of all time? Well, despite being wheelchair-bound, Professor Charles Xavier is one of the most powerful heroes in comic-dom. Born a mutant, Professor X is the world’s most powerful telepath. He is able to read or project his thoughts into minds within a radius of hundreds of miles. He can psionically manipulate the minds of others, warp perceptions to make himself seem invisible or project illusions, cause loss of particular memories, and induce pain or temporary mental and physical paralysis. Within close range, he can manipulate almost any number of minds for such simple feats. Taking it a step further, against one opponent he take full possession of their mind, although he must strictly be within that being’s physical presence. He can even project powerful mental bolts of psionic energy, enabling him to stun the mind of another being into unconsciousness and completely shut down minds and bodies, or cause death. But, while Professor X may possess the most powerful melon on Earth (and one of the most powerful in the galaxy), his delicate body would prove to be too much a liability against the other eight powerhouses on this list.8. The Hulk
If World War Hulk showed us anything, its just how powerful the Hulk is. Never mind the fact that in Hulk #470, he was choked out by an ordinary python, or that he was once injured by Wolverine’s bone claws. I attribute that to poor writing. At his best, the Hulk is a 7-foot, one-ton green behemoth with near-unlimited strength, rapid tissue-regenerative powers and nigh-inexhaustible stamina. He is highly resistant to physical, as well as psychic attacks. He’s been shown to be immune to temperature extremes, diseases, and poisons. His powerful legs allow him to leap into Earth’s upper atmosphere, or even across continents, and when injured he can heal from almost any wound, inherently embodying the most ubiquitous panacea. He has gone toe-to toe with almost all of Marvel’s elite heroes and villains, and has usually come out on top. All of his powers depend on how mad he is, and at his maddest, his footsteps are enough to shake the entire Eastern Seaboard, and his punches capable of shattering small planets.7. Black Bolt
Our seventh most powerful superhero of all time is Black Bolt, the king of the offshoot of humanity known as the inhumans. Black Bolt has often been described as one of the most powerful superheroes in the Marvel universe by other heroes, and for good reason. Through electron gathering and manipulation, Black Bolt can increase any aspect of his physical nature to superhuman levels, including his strength, speed, stamina and durability. In times of great need, he can channel this power into a single devastating punch called “The Master Blow”. He can also harness the electrons for matter transformation; the controlled projection of energy as concussive blasts or quasi-solid particle/electron fiends, broadcasting jamming frequencies, and flight. But Black Bolt’s most salient offensive weapon is his cacophonous voice, as a hypersonic shout that can level an entire city, and his merest whisper has been shown capable of stunning the Hulk. It’s even been suggested that his voice is capable of destroying an entire planet.6. The Sentry
Empowered by an enigmatic professor’s secret formula, The Sentry absorbs solar radiation for strength and moves his molecules an instant ahead of the normal timeline. His superpowers include super strength, speed, stamina, and senses, along with the power to create energy fields and of course the power of unaided flight. He also possesses a number of mental powers, having displayed the ability to implant his memories into another person’s mind. To top all that off, he emits a form of radiation that calms down the Hulk, severely limiting the Jade giant’s rage-fueled powers. It’s been mentioned a number of times that he possesses the power of “a million exploding suns” and that he is “the most powerful human in the galaxy”. Unfortunately, his primary weakness appears to be his mental instability, as he is often referred to as an agoraphobic schizophrenic, and he is very susceptible to mental manipulation and inculcation.Pages: 1 2

Did you have to post the whole tier thing. you could have just posted a linked. TM3000, it was stupid to get involved with Guy and Delta’s debate. But im going to do the same.
Delta you believe that WWH was overrated. What should we do about it pretend it did not happen?
The way i recall the Rulk vs thor battle was Rulk beating him with his own hammer as well. But i dont think hulk is as powerful as Odin is.
Ares= thor, not a chance. not even close.
TM3000 since your so against these cross over battles between DC and Marvel, could you come up with top ten marvel characters and a top ten DC characters using the same rules for this tournament.
Anyone else what to post there top ten for just marvel and top ten for just DC.
November 7th, 2009 at 4:14 am
TM3000…..
I know DC characters are generally more powerful than Marvel. It’s just the Class X-Number system isn’t literal after you get past Class 10. For example, most people think Thing, who’s Class 90, is stronger than Aquaman, who most peg Class 60(but he seems to have had a strength boost before his death), and yet Aquaman has lifted stuff weighing thousands of tons even before his strength increase.
The thing with Hulk’s strength is it’s highly inconsistent. Most of the time he’s slightly to moderately stronger, at best, than his opponent if that opponent is superior to Hulk’s base strength. The majority of his really impressive strength feats aren’t combat related and it’s obvious the circumstances make the strength level. But looking more and more, it’s starting to seem that it’s actually Superman with the more impressive strength feats.
But there’s no debate except from the Hulk fanboys that Doomsday is superior to Hulk. Just on strength alone, the Hulk supporters make such a huge deal over Hulk’s dynamic strength. Doomsday has this as well, and is far stronger and more durable at base level than Hulk is. Regeneration is roughly equal at best for Hulk. And then you factor in the other abilities Doomsday has that Hulk lacks, and it’s pretty obvious that Doomsday is by and far superior to Hulk.
I didn’t say Silver Surfer would beat Hulk every time at arm wrestling. I was asked who from Marvel could. But I’d think catching Hulk’s punch casually is more impressive than beating Hulk at arm wrestling.
Yes, it’s pretty ridiculous that Guy made a big deal over Hulk beating Ares in comparison to Thor. Even going by just brawling, Thor’s a lot stronger and more durable than Ares.
Odin is likely a good deal more powerful than taking every version of Hulk from Mind-Less to Banner-Less to War to Mr. Fixit to Professor/Merged(Hell make them separate Hulks) to Gravage to Savage to Onslaught to World War Hulk, combine them, and increase that power by a factor of 10. Odin’s almost certainly still more powerful.
And it’s funny that the great World War Hulk only managed to stalemate Sentry in a fan-wank storyline, and the Hulk fanboys are so proud of it.

Steve: While a lot of those characters I’m either unfamiliar with or haven’t even heard of, I’d have to say what I do know, that that list is quite flawed. For one it had put Nightmare above Mephisto, definitely not accurate. And it also put Mephisto above Celestials. Of course I see some characters seem to have been mentioned twice or more, and not just the cases of the character at variating power levels.
Apoco: What I mean by WWH being overrated is that many people act like it was more impressive than it really was. For example, they brag about Hulk beating Juggernaut in there, twice. First time, Juggernaut was severely weakened. Second time, it was essentially Battle-Field Removal. When Hulk beat the fully powered Juggernaut, it was the equivalent of if someone who you know can destroy you is charging you, you step out of the way, and they fall down a flight of stairs. Yes, you did win the fight. But is that something to brag about like you beat the shit out of him? No. Hilarious to tell about, but not brag-worthy.
So no, I don’t pretend it didn’t happen. But I don’t elevate it to a point where it was more impressive than it really was. There’s a reason I call WORLD WAR HULK the Royce Gracie of comics.
People make this big deal about Royce Gracie winning UFC 1. Rorion Gracie, Royce’s older brother, says he created the UFC to “prove” that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu(or like those proud Gracies like to call, “Gracie Jiu-Jitsu”) is the most effective fighting style in the world. UFC 1 had the fighters specifically picked so there was no significant threat to Royce as only one other fighter had significant grappling training, and skewered the rules to favor Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, such as Ken Shamrock not being allowed to wear his wrestling shoes.
And a lot of the fighters didn’t even know it was real, they thought it was supposed to be a big fake show like WWE-style wrestling. Then after a few UFCs, and the rules changing so they don’t favor the Gracie’s precious style of Jujitsu so much, and more, better Martial Artists including more grapplers, coming into what was evolving into modern Mixed Martial Arts, Rorion sold his share of UFC’s parent company at the time and him and Royce left while Royce still had an impressive record, if you look ONLY at the record.
And one example of it getting overrated due to nostalgia is Royce facing Kimo Leopoldo during UFC 3. Kimo’s fighting experience at the time was mostly due to some street fights he had, and he had very little training for combat sport. And the fight lasted so long, that Royce was exhausted after it and had to throw in the towel instead of go to his next fight(the UFC was still an elimination tournament at this time). And that included Royce fighting dirty, with groin strikes and hair pulling and stuff like that, which were legal at the time.
So while I don’t ignore WORLD WAR HULK or Royce Gracie’s record, I have reason to think they’re overrated and that people spin WWH when they use that to argue for Hulk.
November 7th, 2009 at 6:44 am
thor is not the strongest because storm fought with him and she beated the crap out of him so it isnt thor
November 7th, 2009 at 8:51 am
Doctor Manhattan FTW!!!!! simple as that….Arguments over..the end
November 7th, 2009 at 6:19 pm
Well it’s been more than a day and Guy hasn’t said a thing. Guess he realized he got violated worse than a 9 year old at a Michael Jackson sleep-over…..yes, I do mean even after MJ died…..on the whole World War Hulk’s more than twice as powerful as Odin thing.
And perhaps started to get a little sense that he was wrong on just about everything else he said.
November 7th, 2009 at 7:42 pm
TM3000- there are many problem with the list but one thing like Delta point out Mephisto being list over the Celestials. Interdimensional gods/demons are usually all powerful in thier own relams like Mephisto but outside their relams not that powerful and Celestial been shown be very powerful no matter where they appear. Celestials was able to defeat Zeus & Odin when they came to earth this why all of the major races of gods swore to forego their active involvement in the destiny of mankind.
So no way Mesphisto should be rated higher that Celestial. Especial if list Odin (full power) higher than Mephisto which is probably correct.
November 7th, 2009 at 8:11 pm
I don’t think Odin, even at full power, is higher than Mephisto, but I don’t think Mephisto is so much above Odin to even match a Celestial in power. Considering how powerful the Destroyer was at a normal level, and how well it did when enhanced by Odin and all of Asguard but Thor.
But it also put Nightmare above Mephisto, which I dunno if it’s even the case in Nightmare’s own realm.
November 7th, 2009 at 8:26 pm
Wafe: Thor’s far more powerful than Storm. His weather manipulation alone is greater than her’s, not to mention his strength, durability, energy projection, matter manipulation, space warping, ect. The only time I’m aware of where Storm ever posed a challenge was her being mystically amped by Loki. So that’s likely what you’re referring to, and I doubt even what happened is accurate to what you’re claiming.
5ubi: And how is it that Doctor Manhattan is the most powerful? I doubt he’s even as powerful as Firestorm.
November 7th, 2009 at 8:49 pm
Darryl im not sure why you directed your last comment towards me. I wasn’t talking about mesphisto or Celestials in battle.
Delta, i dont no why you are still going on about the strength scale my original point was that even though marvel has many class 100 members, DC characters are shown lifting way more even though they might be considered a class 100 as well. I have not disagreed with you nor i dont feel like you disagree with the point im trying to make. Maybe my first post was not as clear. Just to make it clear to everyone, DC characters are written stronger then marvel characters. superman and wonder woman are shown lifting heavier objects then the hulk or Hercules. Ok is every thing clear now?
November 7th, 2009 at 9:08 pm
TM3000
“Marvel has a bunch of characters that are class 100, which means they can lift at least 100 tons. there are some cases a character is shown lifting something the is probably around 250 tons. This is different from DC because there upper limits are much higher. Wonder woman is shown lifting 500 tons which as far as i can remember no marvel character has done that”
That’s why. It sure looks like it was being used by it’s literal meaning, instead of as a class system that’s not really defined by the weight limits it gives.
November 7th, 2009 at 2:09 am
Yeah i said at least a 100 tons. I never said there limit. All characters on the class 100 list has been shown or said to lift 100 tons or more. Delta do you just look for things to argue? Im surprised you aren’t ranting about my grammatical error when i said “something the” When it should have been something that.
November 7th, 2009 at 2:56 am
what about zatana not only has she taken out superman but any thing she says backwords hapens no questions asked?
November 7th, 2009 at 5:13 am
TM3000…..
Did you miss the part where I said characters below the Class 100 ranking have lifted well above 100 tons themselves? Rogue’s probably lifted a few hundred before and she’s Class 50.
November 7th, 2009 at 2:10 pm
James, mages are really hard to gauge how powerful they are. Sometimes Zatanna is far more effective than the entire JLA, then you’ve got her getting tied up by The Joker.
November 7th, 2009 at 4:00 pm
The real problem is way Marvel rate heroes strenght is total different then how DC rate there heroes strenght. It’s like comparing apples & oranges. When Marvel did Marvel Universe they create class system to decribe hero strength levels. When DC did Who’s Who they didn’t want to copy Marvel class system so they decribe there heroes using relative concepts to show heroes strenght example it stated in who who’s if superman was able to lift Great Pryamid without the pryamid breaking apart that he could do that with great effort. Delta you wrong about marvel hero no shown lift over 500 ton. The Hulk in secret wars held up a mountian range. I’m not sure how show wonder women lift over 500 tons I know she is strong but 500 tons seem little outlandish.
November 7th, 2009 at 5:07 pm
Darryl…..
I was quoting what TM3000 had said regarding lifting limits, not saying no one in Marvel’s lifted over 500 tons. Considering I’ve said Rogue’s probably lifted a few hundred, I’m not sure how you didn’t rethink that.
But on the Class system Marvel put into place, most comic fans who debate and discuss characters use that system universally, Marvel, DC, WildStorm, image ect. DC doesn’t even use comparative concepts anymore, the best I’ve seen is saying Wonder Woman has “godlike strength.”
But you’re wrong on Hulk lifting the mountain range, he only braced PART of a SINGLE mountain, it was the entire range that weighed 150 billion tons or whatever it was. Also, Hulk admitted he was only able to do what he did due to a leverage advantage.
But you’re saying Wonder Woman lifting over 500 tons seems outlandish? Do you know ANYTHING about DC Comics? She’s close to Superman in strength, and that lifting a pyramid was his weakest without being drained or depowered after CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. When she was about 8 she was able to casually lift up a Greek temple. She offered to hold up an entire island. She lifted up a battleship with one hand, and battle ships weigh at least 90,000 tons. She broke chains that were created with the intent of restraining Superman, and while that doesn’t prove they would have restrained him, they’d have to be DAMN STRONG chains if that’s what they were attempting to do. On more than one occasion she’s held-up a bridge with tons of cars on it. Her and Martian Manhunter were holding up a chariot made of unknown materials (it’s literally technology from Heaven) that was the size of San Francisco. There’s that whole moving the moon back into place thing in JLA/TITANS, and while she was one of eight to do this, not only does the moon weigh the better part of a trillion tons, but it was engulfed by a mass large enough to move it from it’s proper orbit. Then there’s her, Superman and Green Lantern moving the moon so fast through Earth’s gravity that the atmosphere around it catches fire, and moving it back into place, so they’d have to carry an 80something billion ton weight at close to lightspeed. She pulled Martian Manhunter away from a black hole. She was one of three to provide a counter-force to the Earth it’s self from being thrown out of orbit when they had just been brought back from the dead and weren’t back to full strength. Her and Superman slowed down what was the “weight of eternity.” And this isn’t including combat strength feats. I’d say Wonder Woman’s far more than strong enough to lift 500 tons.
November 7th, 2009 at 5:25 pm
A few more things. Wonder Woman’s casually dropped a building, as well as sending a building-sized giant 75 miles away with a single punch. Both would probably require well above the strength to lift 500 tons, and she was much weaker then.
But also that lifting a battleship. I was wrong on the weight, they’re actually more like 40,000-50,000 tons for the more modern ones, I was thinking of an aircraft carrier. But even if it were only to weigh 40,000 tons, considering how she lifted it with just one hand, she should be capable of lifting well over 80,000 tons for the maximum weight she can lift. And she’s much stronger now than she was then, in the late 80’s.

Sorry I don’t buy it! I do know a thing or two about DC and your example seem to be like the hyerbole you excuse HULK Fanboys doing when they talk about WWH. Like I stated Wonder Woman is strong I do know her strenght is state to be close to superman but can’t really put in class because DC don’t give true measure superman or wonder woman strenght except they have noticable limit. The Hulk even if just bracing mountian range would still mean he lift over 500 tons easily. I like compare DC & Marvel heroes strength level but it is still like comparing apple & orange. Marvel heroes have more define system for strenght which real make easy to compare marvel heroes then DC heroes when it come to strenght.
November 7th, 2009 at 8:50 pm
Darryl, other than the Hulk mountain lifting thing being over 500 tons(which I didn’t actually disagree with, I just corrected you that he didn’t lift the entire mountain range), I don’t know what the FUCK you’re trying to argue.
That Wonder Woman can’t lift over 500 tons? You said her strength is close to Superman. Are you saying Superman can’t lift much more than 500 tons? If that’s the case, I can prove you wrong with low-end and mid-end feats for Superman. Well they’re neither feats or low-showings, just lower-level stuff Superman’s lifted without a problem.
In THE MAN OF STEEL #1, before he even takes on the identity of Superman, he stabilizes and brings down the “space plane” Constitution, with a civilian jumbo jet stuck to it. Jumbo jets weigh over 387 tons, and the civilian plane was really miniscule compared to the plane. It wasn’t even half as large as one of the Constitution’s tail fin.
ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #473 had Superman throw beyond Earth’s gravitational pull a space craft four times the size of an aircraft carrier. Aircraft carriers weigh at least 90,000 tons.
JUSTICE LEAGUE AMERICA #65: After Starbreaker drained Superman of the majority of his energy, Superman’s embedded into the core of Almerac and still digs himself free of countless tons of dirt and rock.
An issue of ACTION COMICS I can’t immediately give the issue reference for had Superman casually break through a dome designed to contain an atomic bomb’s detonation.
SUPERMAN #162: Superman casually grabs, picks-up and flies up with a giant sea monster(Superman’s a speck by comparison) before throwing it at least several miles. Even if it weren’t much bigger than a blue whale, they weigh upto 150 tons, so throwing one a far distance is easily in excess of lifting 500 tons.
JLA: FOREIGN BODIES has Batman’s consciousness in Superman’s body casually pry open a nuclear blast door.
On two occasions(ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #599 and SUPERMAN FOR ALL SEASONS), Superman’s lifted nuclear submarines. These weigh between 10,000 and 20,000 tons. One time he casually lifted it and held it over-head with one hand, another he lifted it up out of the water starting from the ocean floor, so it would’ve weighed more than normal.
ACTION COMICS #793: Superman casually dropped a mountain onto an active volcano to plug it up.
Also that WHO’S WHO thing that talks about Superman’s powers JUST after CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS so at his weakest while not being depowered? It saying his maximum lift is a pyramid? I believe those weigh well over 100,000 tons.
And these are low and mid end showings. So if you agree that Wonder Woman’s near Superman in strength, how can you say it’s outlandish that Wonder Woman can lift over 500 tons? She can lift well beyond 500 tons.

What about thanos? I won’t argue with anyone about anything I’m just saying he’s beaten almost everybody the Marvel universe and he wasn’t even given an honorable mention. By the way I’m a Sentry fan myself and WWH was complete bull, there’s no way WWH could beat Sentry even with all of his new found strength and fighting ability.
November 7th, 2009 at 1:09 pm
Hulk should be #1.
November 7th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
The Hulk Destroyed Thor and all of Asgard:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUFeRt-_TpM
How can Thor possibly be #1 on this list? It makes no sense whatsoever.
November 7th, 2009 at 3:55 pm
Actually, sentry is the strongest being in the marvel universe, with the power of 1 million exploding suns…. and ONE exploding sun releases the biggest amount in energy ever calculated.
November 7th, 2009 at 4:14 pm
Sentry IS more powerful than superman, but I don’t know if sentry could take down the mighty Thor. Right now i think that the strongest superhero is Thor. did you see how he challenged the entire avenger team and osborn cant do shit about it?
November 7th, 2009 at 4:15 pm
@Horace:
The Hulk vs Thor video was tits. I loved watching Hulk beat the living shit out of Thor and pretty much all of Asgard for that matter. just goes to show that Hulk is more powerful than an entire pantheon of gods. He really is the new generation of gods.
November 7th, 2009 at 6:18 pm
@Horace: Explain how the Hulk should be #1. Superman, Thor, and Silver Surfer are so much more powerful than he is that its not even close.
November 7th, 2009 at 6:32 pm
Sorry, President Steve, but Hulk from World War Hulk would beat Superman just like? he did with Sentry.
November 7th, 2009 at 7:11 pm
Sammy…..
Thanos is a villain. While he’s worked on the side of good from time to time, at his core, he’s a villain. So thus, he’s not going to be included on the list. Might want to pay a little attention to the intro.
November 7th, 2009 at 7:14 pm
Horace, no, Hulk should NOT be #1. Some video doesn’t count, in all reality Hulk would not do that in a comic. Many, MANY characters are far more powerful than Hulk. Superman, Flash, Thor, Silver Surfer, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Captain Atom, the list goes on.
Hulk’s incredibly overrated.
And fuck no would Hulk from World War Hulk beat Superman like Hulk DREW against Sentry. Hulk didn’t even beat Sentry!! And Superman wouldn’t turn into a normal human like that.
Hulk’s most impressive feats from WWH don’t touch Superman’s feats.
November 7th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
Newmen, prove that Sentry could take Superman. The more and more I’m learning about Sentry, the less and less impressive he sounds. Doesn’t seem he’s upto par with Superman. Hell, he’s not even as fast as Superman and all these people are claiming he’s faster.
November 7th, 2009 at 7:18 pm
Buikus…..
An animated video doesn’t mean years of Thor being the superior to Hulk is nullified. Thor’s beaten Hulk at least four times, and drew twice, at least one of those times was without the hammer the Hulk fanboys claim is the only reason Thor has a chance, and Hulk would thrash Thor without Mjolnir.
Hulk’s only managed to beat Thor twice, both times in the exact same comic, and Thor has one victory in there as well.
Hulk is no where near as powerful as so many characters, even without getting into the likes of Highfather and Ion and a fully powered Phoenix and the like.
November 7th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
Delta:
I guess you don’t know jack shit about the Hulk or comics in general. Did you see the dvd? The Hulk demolished all of Asgard easily. And thor. So how is Thor more powerful than the Hulk? And btw the way, he couldn’t beat Thor in the cartoon even WITH his hammer, so how the FUCK is he gonna do it WITHOUT the hammer?? Its simple logic, you dumb fuck. And sorry to be the one to tell you this, you dumbfuck Thor fanboy, but the cartoon is CANON. Since all the pages on your Thor comics are probably stuck together anyway, why don’t you go find some good comic books (like World War Hulk perhaps) and buy them (if you can afford it, which I doubt) and learn a little something. Jackass.
November 7th, 2009 at 9:31 pm
Oh Buikus, you are one stupid fucking dipshit moron.
How hilarious that you say I don’t know jack shit about Hulk or comics in general. Where is a CARTOON cannon? Are you that fucking retarded? And if you knew jack shit about the Hulk, you’d know he’s incredibly overrated by his fanboys that are almost as “intelligent” as he is.
And if you combine Hulk’s wins AND draws against Thor, it matches Thor’s wins over Hulk. Thor fucking owned Hulk with a bolt of lightning in one of their fights.
And you want another example of your stupidity? Calling me a Thor fanboy. Like the character, but he’s not my favorite. No where close enough to be a fanboy. But if you had a shred of competence you’d have known that. Too bad you don’t, though.
And no, my comics don’t have the pages stuck together. How much money have you spent on KY and the green food coloring you add to it when you read a book like WWH?
And I guess I deserve that jackass comment, after how I violated your mom. Wait, she loved it so much I was compensated quite well for my services. Guess then it wasn’t really a violation.
November 7th, 2009 at 10:27 pm
Anyone who thinks Thor could beat the Hulk is nothing more than a Thor fanboy you fucktard. Are “Thor’s wins” as you call them as impressive as crushing every fucking hero on the planet earth? As strolling into Asgard and dominating every god there and then Thor himself? Yeah, good insults there too, you fucking eight year old? Your momma jokes? Really, is that the best you can do? You’re a fucking moron.
November 7th, 2009 at 10:53 pm
I’m the fucking moron who’s 8 years old and yet the best insults you can come-up with are “dumbfuck” which you use twice and “fucktard?”
And I’m a fanboy to think that Thor could beat Hulk? Then what’s this? http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd124/HulkFights/Vs%20Thor/Fight%201/3.jpg
And just because you use that HULK VS DVD to masturbate to does not mean it’s canon. In the actual COMICS, Thor has won twice as many times against Hulk as Hulk has against Thor. Deal with it.
And and Superman>>>>>>>>>>Hulk.
November 7th, 2009 at 3:56 pm
LOL. What the fuck is that supposed to prove? Did you see the DVD? Maybe you can’t afford it. Ask your parents to buy it for you and watch it. You’ll see the Hulk walk right through all of Asgard and own Thor like a little bitch. Just like I am owning you right now. You dumb piece of shit.
November 7th, 2009 at 3:59 pm
What do you make of this, you dumb fucking terd:
http://dailypop.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/thor385-3.jpg
That’s your precious fucking Thor getting his ASS HANDED TO HIM by the Hulk. Right after that he ass raped Sif.
November 7th, 2009 at 4:02 pm
By the way you dumb fucking ass clown, you do realize that MARVEL made that cartoon, right? How the hell is it not canon? I wish you were standing next to me right now so I could knock your dumb fucking ass out, you piece of shit.
November 7th, 2009 at 5:32 pm
Buikis you are such a dumbass little pussy bitch.
That’s an entire fight between Hulk and Thor, where Hulk completely and utterly owns Hulk. You show ONE panel from ONE fight and claim it’s Hulk owning Thor? How about you show the rest of the fight? I’d call you a moron, but I’d be insulting those who are ONLY morons.
And so the fuck what that the cartoon is made by Marvel? The COMICS are what’s canon, not a cartoon. If all you have is to whine like a 7 year old that it’s made from Marvel as your argument that it’s in continuity, then you are one fucking idiot. How many generations of inbreeding produced someone as dim and dense as you?
And come over to Sacramento, California and I’ll beat the shit out of you for calling me an idiot. You’re a little pussy hiding behind the Internet. I had not insulted you and you throw a hissy fit like a dumbass little bitch kid because you’re wrong, pussy.
November 7th, 2009 at 5:52 pm
Oh, and you can’t even do a decent job of insulting. You called me a “dumb fucking terd?” You do know it’s spelled “turd” right?
Good Lord, you can’t even make stupid, piss-poor insults without fucking up!! And even if you got it spelled right, the diss sucks more than your mom does at an orgy.
November 7th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
I don’t remember calling anyone a “turd” and I know thanos is a villian. I was only using him as an example of who has beaten the hulk, not as a most powerful superhero.
November 7th, 2009 at 12:30 pm
And another thing anyone who calls someone out over the internet, regardless if they’re only responding to a threat or whatever themselves is hiding behind the internet. Telling someone where you live over the internet is stupid. I’m not trying to be the king of all insults with that it’s just plain and simple. Has anyone that any of you know actually gotten someone to meet them to fight over state lines, and maybe even national lines for that matter, to fight over a comic book? If you have then good job for being that big of a fan, and supporting you’re hero or villian, whichever the case may be. But I highly doubt that any of you ever have. That’s all I have to say. Last post because I reall could care less to hear what any of you have to say back to this. Call me a punk, pussy, bitch whatever there just words I won’t read on computer screen. In other words if anyone has anything to see please try your best to get a life.
November 7th, 2009 at 12:40 pm
I’m wrong? LOL. Yeah, I’m going to hop on a plane and come 3,000 miles to beat your pussy little bitch ass. You’re not worth the price of a plane ticket. Besides, I’m sure your parent’s wouldn’t like it when I barge into their house and come up to your room to beat there little fag son up. Dumbass: Explain to me how is a cartoon made by Marvel is not canon in marvel. Star wars novels are canon. So are the movies and cartoons. So you are fucking wrong. Nice job falling back on the your momma jokes too, you uncreative ass wipe.
November 7th, 2009 at 12:41 pm
I love how any time Hulk puts a beat down on Thor, Thor-fan-fags find some way to say its not Canon. Or its PIS. Fucking crybaby fags. As they say in World War Hulk, Hulk is “The Strongest One There Is”. Just accept it, and get over it.
November 7th, 2009 at 3:19 pm
Delta, you really don’t know what you’re talking about, do you? First off, the Hulk won’t let Superman grab onto him. When they fought in the comics Superman grabbed him and the Hulk broke loose, then he punched Superman all the way to Jupiter. You can look it up. Second, Hulk can adapt to being in outerspace. Look it up. Third, Hulk Smashes. The angrier the Hulk gets? the madder he gets, eventually he will kill Superman. The Hulk beat the Sentry, who is the most powerful being in the Marvel Universe (besides Hulk himself, or maybe even the Red Hulk). The Sentry can easily beat Thor, and Hulk beat the Sentry. Sentry has the power of a million exploding suns. Hulk is able to absorb all that energy. Superman, Thor, Sentry, no one has any chance against the Hulk.
@Buikus: You are right. Hulk did in fact run right through all of Asgard. If he can do that to an entire group of gods, what chance does a puny mortal like Superman have. Hulk is beyond gods.
November 7th, 2009 at 6:24 pm
Delta: Hulk is stronger than Thor! He is the strongest there is! And why do you think this cartoon isn’t canon? Who do u think made it? Marvel and Stan lee himself wrote this cartoon…..this isn’t a “what? if”, this is a what IS…Even in the comic books the Hulk punishes everyone, have you ever read Hulk World War? Just accept the facts and deal with it.
November 7th, 2009 at 6:39 pm
Here is the top 10 list of most powerful superheroes as it should be:
1. Sentry
2. Silver Surfer
3. Green Lantern
4. Thor
5. Superman
6. Wonder Woman
7. Flash
8. Hulk
9. Martian Manhunter
10. Black Bolt
November 7th, 2009 at 7:13 pm
Thor at number 1 seems a little questionable to me. There are plenty of people stronger than Thor (Sentry and the Hulk are obvious examples). Vs the Hulk, I think Thor would need the infinity gaunlet to beat him. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Thor fan, but there’s no denying that the Hulk is the most powerful character in the Marvel Universe, besides cosmic beings like the Celestials and Living Tribunal.
