Top 10 Games for the Playstation 3
As most of the readers of Old-Wizard know, we prefer the Nintendo Wii to the Playstation 3 (To see the reasons why we like it better, check our Top 10 Reasons the Wii has Dominated the PS3 List). And while we do think that for the most part the Nintendo Wii is the more innovative console, and on average has much better games (you can see our favorites on our Top 10 Games for the Wii List), that doesn’t mean that every now and again there isn’t a diamond in the rough. Especially considering that the PS3 has hundreds of games to chose from. So although the Wii is our favorite seventh generation console, between the three of us here at O-W, we probably own every video game console ever made (even the Sega Genesis), and we play all of them from time to time. With that being said, the Playstation 3 does have some good games, and in this next list we’ll show you which games we like the most.10. Assassin’s Creed
If you can ignore the not-so-subtle “Christians bad, Muslims good” theme which is prevalent in this game, then you’ll probably enjoy Assassin’s Creed. The game follows the story of a grand conspiracy in the best tradition of the Da Vinci Code, which spans from the Crusades all the way to the year 2012 (note to conspiracy theorists, that date is not a coincidence). The themes and enemies are familiar to anyone who has ever read Dan Brown’s now famous book, but that doesn’t stop this from being a fun game with an intriguing plot. This game has it all, assassins, secret societies, the Knights Templar and ancient artifacts, what’s not to like?
9. MLB 08: The Show
I really didn’t think that Sony would be able to top MLB 2007: The Show. But I guess for once I was wrong. The 2008 version improved not only the graphics, but the stats as well. This game tracks everything, including how your player fares at the plate at various locations, and versus various pitches and pitchers. It also has a better “training” mode than its predecessor. MLB ‘08 delivers on almost every game play front. The on-field play is excellent, the stat tracking is immense, and Road to the Show is one of the best career modes around. The graphics themselves are visually stunning, and a big improvement over MLB 2007. MLB 2008 is the baseball game that baseball fans have been waiting for on the PS3.8. Super Stardust HD
Super Stardust HD is a downloadable game for the PlayStation 3 video game console developed by the Finnish company Housemarque. It reminds me of a mix between Asteroids and Geometry Wars. This game is based on a simple concept, and it executes it very well. This is a compelling shooter, its fast and rhythmic, with great over the top visuals that heighten the action without confusing it. The game play itself ebbs and flows perfectly, building up to screen-filling climaxes before easing off a bit, then doing it all over again. While Super Stardust HD may only have a few hours of play in it,for $8 you can’t got wrong with this game.7. Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
When the creators of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune played Tomb Raider for the first time, they must have thought “We can do this better”. And they did so by crafting one of the best treasure hunting, action platforming games ever made. The creative team at Naughty Dog have made a slick and enjoyable game that features interesting level designs, lush jungle scenery and the kind of swashbuckling action that would make Indiana Jones crack a grizzled smile. If you own a PS3 this game is a must buy. To say the least, its one of the best games available on any console. The storyline is enjoyable and reminiscent of many great adventure movies. Uncharted sets a new bar on next gen games. If you like action and adventure and don’t mind being the star of a playable movie, then Uncharted should be on your list.6. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a highly addictive game, with a beautiful soundtrack and graphics, and a truly amazing story. The quests and items are some of the best from the RPG genre since Chrono Trigger. The game combines some of the best elements of Ultima VII, Baldur’s Gate and Guild Wars. For anyone who grew up playing AD&D, you’ll find that the only drawback to Oblivion is that there’s not enough time in a day to play massive map. The variety of weapons, armor, shields, magic spells and enemies will blow your mind. Play it for a while and you’ll agree that its one of the best RPGs on the PS3.5. Tiger Woods 2009
While not as good as the Wii version, Tiger Woods 2009 is a highly enjoyable game no matter what console you play it on. It just seems to be put together so well. Playing on normal difficulty, I’ve found the game play and controls to be incredibly intuitive. The game is easy to pick up and learn. Unlike watching golf on TV, you get to follow the trajectory of the ball and see what happened prior to the ball coming down. The career path is fun and pulls you in from the start. In short, the game is well laid out and nowhere near as complicated to learn as a game like as Madden 09. If you measure the value of game by the number of minutes of play time you get from it without it getting old, you will definitely get your money’s worth from Tiger Woods 2009.4. Folklore
While some people have called Folklore “Pokemon for grown ups”, to me this game is more reminiscent of a Jim Henson movie than a bad Japanese anime cartoon. The reason that some people compare Folklore to those shitty children’s games is it’s approach to battling monsters. As you play though the game, you capture the spirits of monsters, called “ids”, and use them to attack your foes. The catch is that after you beat down a baddie you use the six-axis control to yank the spirit out by pulling up on the controller, a feat that is executed amazingly well. What saves this game from being just another monster collection RPG is the compelling narrative and the unique environments. You can also look forward to some downloadable content which should help keep things fresh in the future. Folklore is a great RPG and worthy of its spot on this list.3. Metal Gear Solid 4
Metal Gear Solid 4 is an epic stealth-shooter with amazing graphics and a massively detailed storyline. This game could easily go down as one of the best games of all time. It is in a league of its own. Nothing else plays like it. Few other games are as engrossed in the mystique of political Sci-Fi conspiracy. Too few have such dedicated stories. In most games, the producer’s passion is not as apparent. This is a game that feels like the game designers cared about making it perfect. Overall, MGS4 is an experience that should not be missed by anyone with a PS3, and if you don’t already own a PS3, this game alone would justify its purchase. It is one of the most creative, original, and technically polished games to appear on the system to date.2. Street Fighter 4
Much like the Sonic games, for a while it seemed like the Street Fighter series had lost its way. For one thing, no one could keep track of all the new games and their complicated titles. Whenever someone asked me if I wanted to play “Street Fighter 2 Alpha Turbo World Championship Edition” I could never remember whether it was one of the good games or one of the bad games in the series. So I would usually just say that I only play the non-Turbo edition and walk away. So, when I heard that the new Street Fighter game would be titled Street Fighter 4, I was relieved. With that being said, what made the first few games in the Street Fighter series different from other fighting games was that they had unique characters, great game play and cartoonish violence that didn’t resort to blood and gore to make it popular due to controversy like the Mortal Kombat series did. SF4 is a great game that returns to the roots of the series, while at the same time keeping it fresh, making it one of the best games on the PS3.1. Little Big Planet
To say that there has been some hype surrounding Little Big Planet would be an understatement. But unlike other over-hyped games for the PS3, like GTA4 for example, Little Big Planet lives up to its hype. The sheer sense of whimsy, of pure no holds barred laugh out loud (that word is the old English phrase for “lol”) jump up and run around find your old light saber and yell like you’ve just seen the original Star Wars for the first time delight that permeates this game is everywhere. Everywhere are the little touches that make this seem so new, even though the basic mechanics are those of a very strong platform game. The graphics are a real departure from what you are used to seeing, but in a very very good way. The textures are sharp and realistic, which is important in a game that draws on mundane objects to make a completely fantastic new world. The movement is rich, and the physics are very well designed. When you play this game, it just feels right. Ultimately, Little Big Planet is a platformer, a very good platformer. Don’t think that you are going to get a game that reinvents gaming here. However, if you know that, and are excited anyway, then you’re going to get the most original, most charming, most delightful platformer to come your way in a long time, and you are going to get virtually inexhaustable user developed content, much of which is great.

Zeromage – going by that list i’d assume that 70% of the US population must be “Hardcore gamers”.
MailToad – if a hardcore game also appeals to the mainstream then that makes it casual??? Going by that logic every game ever made is casual. Hardcore games achieve critical acclaim and that is what CAUSES them to appeal to the mainstream. How many people were even aware of Pokemon’s original release in Japan? Hadly anyone, once word spread about how good the game was, it became mainstream, that doesn’t mean it went from hardcore to casual overnight. The same thing goes for Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid or the first Grand Theft Auto, all those games are STILL hardcore, despite now appealling to the mainstream audience.
I also strongly disagree when you say there aren’t as many as 14 million hardcore gamers in the world. At least 99% of the people who purchased a PS3 must be hardcore gamers (Why would a casual gamer waste £299 for a consle they’re only going to use once a week?). There are 21 million PS3’s in the world. Which means there are enough hardcore gamers on the PS3 alone to purchase all those copies of GTA and COD. Add the number of hardcore 360 gamers to that list (Obviously less than the PS3 but still a reasonable amount) and you get the idea.
On to your point’s about Fire Emblem, etc……i’m afraid you’ve lost me. You say that some games are SO hardcore that they only appeal to casual gamers??? LMAO, i really don’t understand that one bit. You also called some of those games “Just bad”? Well a bad game generally doesn’t appeal to anyone, does it?
I’d like to quote what you said about the battle system of a game like Smash Brothers when you said “Hundreds of strategies for lots of entirely unique characters”. Now i agree with that statement, however do you know what other game’s battle system you just described perfectly there? Pokemon. Yet there are some idiots who would label THAT as a casual game……..
Now on to your list……i notice you changed the wording from “Hardcore games” to “Games that appeal to the hardcore”. Why? Wasn’t this whole argument about the amount of Hardcore games on each system??? Do you not think the Wii has any hardcore games? Or were you simply afraid of proving me right when i said you contradicted yourself about the easy – to – use control scheme?
Judging by the wording you used, it seems you feel as if there are NO hardcore games whatsoever. You have to remember, just because a game appeals to the mainstream doesn’t instantly make it casual.
Also, when did i say mature = hardcore??? If you’d ever read any of my previous posts properly you would know that i count games such as “Pokemon”, “Ratchet & Clank”, “Jak & Daxter”, “Mario” and “Sonic The Hedgehog” as hardcore………please stop making things up.
November 20th, 2009 at 7:35 pm
@David MacPhail
The whole point of my last post was saying that very few games are completely hardcore. A lot of gamers that call themselves hardcore do not play any truly hardcore games. So yes in a way I am saying that hardcore games barely exist. Most games have elements that appeal to both hardcore and casual audiences. I am however also saying that there are hardly any truly casual games either.
The reason I changed the title of my list was exactly to prove this point. Because sure, Super Smah Bros appeals hugely to casual Wii owners as well as hardcore, but so do friggin’ DIRT and GTA IV.
Sorry but saying that only a hardcore gamer buys a PS3 is just nonsense. The amount of people that will religiously switch to that just because they had a PS2 is much larger than you may think (try living in Italy once). And you might say that these people are not hardcore gamers because they haven’t even bothered checking to see if there is any reason to get a PS3. But that would be contradicting yourself.
BTW if you didn’t get what I meant with the Fire Emblem discussion I was actually saying that TRULY hardcore games are ones which only hardcore gamers can enjoy (duh). What I am also saying however is that many people who call themselves hardcore gamers will probably find these games too much. A lot of people who enjoy the hardcore elements in a game will not however enjoy games that have exclusively hardcore content (Megaman), and would much rather play a game with some casual elements as well (Smash Bros).
So the difference between the Wii and PS3’s games is not the amount of hardcore games available on them but more how hardcore the titles on each console are.
Now arguing about that is rather pointless I guess as it entirely depends on how you look at it. But on a list by list thing, I have proven that there are just as many games that will appeal to the hardcore audience on the Wii as on the PS3. Noticed you didn’t mention anything about that in your post. If this whole argument is about “which has the most hardcore games” then why did you not in any way respond to the fact that my list matches yours?
November 20th, 2009 at 9:55 pm
RIGHT ON! Finally you guys made a list of top 10 that was beyond nintendo 1994 stuff. Although some games deserve to be in the top 10 rather than folklore mind you, THIS is your top 10 and I’m satisfied with that.
THUMBS UP!!
November 20th, 2009 at 1:58 am
MailToad, so now you’re saying that there are hardly any games that are truly hardcore or truly casual??? That’s funny because in one of your posts to David Mcleod you specifically said that Super Smash Brothers, Fire Emblem, Metal Gear Solid and LittleBigPlanet WERE hardcore and that Resistance and Killzone were specifically NOT hardcore. Now you’ve contradicted yourself by saying that most games are a mix of each??? LOL, so which is it?
LBP certainly caters to ALL gamers, so it is a mix, however YOU originally clarified it as being a hardcore game. You also specifically stated that Smash Brothers was a hardcore game but in your last post you changed your mind AGAIN (Honestly, you do this more than an old lady) and then said that it merely has aspects that appeal to hardcore gamers? That’s a bit of a contradiction as well.
You say that you changed the wording of your list to drive home your point about there being hardly any truly hardcore games? Well now…..that wasn’t your original point, was it??? Why didn’t you say that was your stance earlier to Mcleod, instead of telling him which games were and weren’t hardcore??? Why did you ask ME for a list of “Hardcore games not on Wii” instead of “Games that have hardcore aspects not on Wii”???
The REAL reason you changed your list and your stance was most likely because you were afraid of making yourself sound like an idiot after i proved you wrong about Killzone and Resistance being “Easily accessible” however seeing as how this is a blatantly obvious attempt to go back on what you were originally saying……i’m afraid you’ve done that anyway.
About the PS3….you say there is a large amount of people who have migrated to the PS3 just because they owned a PS2??? Perhaps i should help you out here:
The PS2 has sold over 140 million units worldwide and COUNTING.
The PS3 has sold 21 million units worldwide.
Evidently there aren’t as many people migrating as YOU seem to think there are, LOL.
Besides, it doesn’t make sense for someone to spend £299.99 on a PS3 just because they owned a PS2….most casual gamers would just stick with the PS2 seeing as how it still has games being made for it. It’s not like a casual gamer would buy the PS3 for the latest and greatest games….because casual’s don’t care about that, y’see?
Onto Fire Emblem…..if a hardcore gamer finds a game too much then they’re not going to enjoy it very much, are they (Duh!)??? So basically you’re saying that some hardcore gamers will enjoy a hardcore game and some will only enjoy a hardcore game with casual elements? I guess that makes sense however you failed to elborate on what you meant when you said games like that can be “Just bad”. LOL…..since when did bad games appeal to ANYONE?
Up next comes another huge contradiction, one that proves you are simply afraid to admit you’ve been proven wrong. You say the difference is not between the number of hardcore games but how hardcore the games are??? LOL, didn’t you just say, in the SAME POST, that there are hardly any “Truly hardcore” games and that most games have both hardcore and casual elements???
You can’t tell me Fire Emblem is a more hardcore game than Grand Theft Auto just because GTA sells more. If a game sells poorly that doesn’t mean it’s too hardcore for people….LOL, it just means it isn’t very good. Mario and Pokemon are the two most hardcore franchises Nintendo ever have had and ever will have…..that’s a FACT. Wether they appeal to the mainstream or not…..all that means is that they’re successful hardcore games.
Regarding your list again, the whole point wasn’t about which console has the most hardcore games. That was something YOU only just made up to try and hide the fact that you’ve made an idiot out of yourself. The argument between you and David Mcleod and subsequently between you and me was about the NUMBER of hardcore games. I DID respond to your list (You should really read my whole post next time before replying) and i replied asking why you’d suddenly changed YOUR view of what this argument was about!
I also notice that YOU failed to respond to the idiotic and ignorant statement you made when you said i thought mature = hardcore. If you had read my last post properly….that was the last thing i addressed.
Your list (Or rather the choice of wording used for it) proves one thing – you evidently felt a bit like a fool after i called you out over the whole “Easily accessible” thing and rather than come out, admit you were wrong and post your list of HARDCORE games (Which would have been a contradiction, however at least you’d have acted like a man about it) you thought you could get away by changing your post at the last minute and trying to pretend that you weren’t actually talking about hardcore games at all…………
Next time you’re going to reply….at least make sure you can remember what your current stance on this matter is….LOL.
I love this website, when does your next “Top 10……” list come out?
November 20th, 2009 at 2:15 am
TO me the argument is which system on average has the higher quality of games, and if you look at all the magazines and websites it is definitely the PS3/XBOX 360, thats not to say there are not some quality games on the Wii i DO own a Wii, there just few and far between.
Here’s a list of Wii games i like that i would say are quality games, fun games all but some, as good as they are still lacking a maturity and depth to be a game i would say i truly love.(but again that’s just my personal preference.) My favorite games are ones who’s stories i can really get into and feel for the characters. Also i am only listing titles that are Wii exclusive.
Fire Emblem
Super Mario Galaxy
Zelda
Metroid Prime 3
Mario Kart
Smash Bros
Wario Land Shake it.
Super Paper Mario
Deadly Creatures
November 20th, 2009 at 2:20 am
Also most of these games i listed came out near the beginning of the Wii’s lifespan, its been some time since we have had a really good game on the Wii, and there are a ton of games on the Wii that are PURELY casual:P
November 20th, 2009 at 2:36 am
I really don’t see what’s so special about “Deadly Creatures”. It’s just a bunch of insects fighting to the death, it sounds like some horrible cross between national geographic and robot wars……………
Also, you’re right about there being a ton of “Purely casual” games on the Wii. However in MailToad’s response (If he makes one) he’ll probably say something like…….”What i REALLY meant was that there are very few games that are a mix of hardcore and casual.”……..LOL.
November 20th, 2009 at 2:47 am
I have only just started playing deadly creatures really, the graphics are really good and the game is very well put together, its fun so far, even though i am terrified of spiders!:P
November 20th, 2009 at 9:27 am
Umm…MacPhail I’m sorry but what exactly is this huge contradiction I made by saying that the difference is not between the number of hardcore games but how hardcore the games are?
WHY all this a contradiction to me saying that hardly any games are truly hardocre or casual but most are a mix is completely beyond me.
It’s pretty clear what I mean by that I would think if you had read my post properly (something which YOU continuously accuse me of NOT doing even though that is completely and utterly false). Most games are not completely one way or the other and are a mix between hardcore and casual (as I said many times in the previous post). So, to wrap up that point maybe you didn’t understand that I was talking about the balance between hardcore and casual elements in games. That it what I was quite clearly saying and I really don’t see why you made up the whole contradiction theory when in actual fact that paragraph makes absolutely no sense.
Speaking of contradictions, here’s a nice and easy one to understand. You said a couple of posts ago “Wasn’t this whole argument about the amount of Hardcore games on each system???” and then in the next post “the whole point wasn’t about which console has the most hardcore games”. I’m sorry but that it was i would call a huge contradiction.
However, there is no point in trying to catch each other out with posts we wrote about a week ago now. I say we simply explain both our opinions on the matter : “Does the Wii have more/less/the same amount of games that appeal to the hardcore gamer (or simply hardcore gamer if you don’t agree with that wording) than the PS3?” we can answer this ignoring any previous posts (maybe referencing them occasionally if you have already said something). No hard feelings.
Unfortunately I really CANNOT BE ARSED doing that now as I have probably wrote thousands of words in the article only and I am very tired at the moment. I am sure you feel the same. Now that is not saying that I won’t post again in this thread but it might be a few days.
LOL.
November 20th, 2009 at 5:13 pm
Mailtoad, there is a difference between “The NUMBER of hardcore games” and “HOW hardcore the games are”. It was YOU who chopped and changed the two of them to suit the situation, so if that IS a contradiction then it is YOU who made it…..LOL. I’m sorry but that’s self – ownage at it’s finest.
Also, my point about you not reading my posts properly was completely TRUE. In one of your earlier comments you accused me of thinking mature = hardcore, that pretty much goes against everything i’ve EVER said since coming to this website…..as David Mcleod and Zeromage will tell you (Pokemon, anyone???).
However you’re right, the whole argument wasn’t about how hardcore the games were…..it WAS about the NUMBER of hardcore games. So why did YOU change the two at the last minute??? LOL………
I also noticed you failed to give an explanation as to why you said to Mcleod that Super Smash Brothers is SPECIFICALLY a hardcore game and then why you said to me that, in actual fact, it only has hardcore elements….that is a HUGE contradiction and it should be REALLY simple for you to understand…..considering it was YOU who wrote it……….
You also say that most games are a mix??? OK….so tell me, what exactly is “Hardcore” about the 10,000 shovelware games on the Wii??? LOL……because according to you, all of them have to have “Some elements that appeal to hardcore gamers”.
Either respond to my questions properly or just stop replying entirely. You’re avoiding questions more than Microsoft did when they were originally asked about the 360’s failure rate.
November 20th, 2009 at 5:31 pm
Macphail, I love reading your replys lol… a real battle out here! Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this all about personal taste rather than saying who’s right and wrong? In a debate like this, where we don’t live in a perfect world, so many different opinions and taste is so hard to define “hardcore”, but hey look at me, I’m doing the same thing as everybody else, just sharing my opinion on the matter where I myself will have a right and wrong but doesn’t really mean I am. That’s why I posted in this top 10 that this was OW TOP 10! not mine.
November 20th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
I first posted a reply on this topic in response to Old Wizard saying in there introduction to this article that they believe on average the Wii has more better games, when in reality this is obviously false i believe there was an article done somewhere else that explains on average which system has the most high rated games and on average which has the lowest, and the PS3 had the highest, then the 360 while the Wii had the lowest amount of high rated games and the Wii had the highest amount of low rated games.
Like i said there are some good games on the Wii, but they are very few and far between and one has not come out in quite some time. but really there is only 3 games on the Wii that can touch any of the better games on the PS3/360 and thats Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3.
November 20th, 2009 at 7:38 pm
Here is an article i found that was written in January of this year and it explains perfectly what i have been trying to say. And what we have all been arguing about. And i believe its not the writers point of view its a gosh dern FACT!:P
http://www.newsvine.com/_news/2009/01/30/2373567-the-wii-needs-better-games-and-fast
November 20th, 2009 at 8:21 pm
From Wikipedia
The term “shovelware” has more recently been used in a more general sense by video game reviewers to indicate any product of disappointingly low quality due to a lack of time and effort by the developers. The Nintendo Wii and DS have often been criticized for having many shovelware titles, with producers hoping to make money with the large success of the consoles at the expense of creating quality games
November 20th, 2009 at 12:36 am
Kevin – you’re right about it all being a matter of opinion on which games you prefer. However the debate between myself and MailToad started after he specifically called Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 “Not hardcore”, of course since making that statement he now will probably tell you that both those games have “Elements of casual and hardcore games”. Which is a completelty different thing……..
To be honest the real debate going on between myself and MailToad was what the definition of a “Hardcore game” is. I suppose that’s a matter of opinion too, however his reasons for not thinking K2 and R2 are hardcore were just SO illogical that i simply had to comment.
David Mcleod – so basically the Nintendo Wii made the word “Shovelware” a mainstream term in the game industry? Ouch……
November 20th, 2009 at 1:05 am
who would want to be a harcore gamer anyway? people are too concerned about labels.
November 20th, 2009 at 2:44 am
David Macphail you are correct sir:P i
November 20th, 2009 at 4:18 am
But again its just preference, soooo if your a person whos preference is for Shovelware you have A LOT to choose from in the Wii so you would think its better:P
November 20th, 2009 at 11:47 am
@MacPhail
I have stopped replying because I am sick of this thread. Noticing that you still tried to catch me out DESPITE me asking you to stop I this is probably my last post in this article.
I thought it was pretty obvious that my last post was not meant to comeback to all the points in your last one but just to prove a couple of points. Now I would make some crack about the amount of your comprendonio here, but that would just start another series of posts.
While there are definitely a few points you make that I would happily argue against (including you still insisting that I do not read your posts!!!) I no longer have the energy to do so. Especially since (as it has been obvious from the very beginning) this is just one of those arguments that will never end. No matter what you say or “prove”, I will not change my mind, and vice versa. It is a matter of opinion and we have different ones. So let’s just leave it at that.
Hope to have many other happy arguments in this awesome website
Wiihasmorehardcoregameslololololololololol.
November 20th, 2009 at 4:45 pm
MailToad, i didn’t TRY to catch you out, i think it’s clear to everyone that was reading our little conversation that i did. However if you don’t want to continue this debate then i’ll respect that.
BTW – your last sentence was another contradiction, LOL.
November 20th, 2009 at 5:14 pm
November 20th, 2009 at 8:34 pm
And thus brings an end to this thread, time to make a new list Zeromage, DM and co.!
November 20th, 2009 at 4:15 am
Yeah this list is just really sad missing out on a lot of the great games out there on the PS3. Folklore I mean really why would that game even be on here?
November 20th, 2009 at 3:15 pm
Yups – are you serious??? Folklore is the best RPG the PS3 currently has in the western markets (Though that will change upon the release of White Knight Chronicles).

Macphail, Yeah you’re right, I think hardcore gaming or “games” is basically depending not on the game, but on the person, if this person LOVES to play Qbert and that’s all they play, then Qbert is a hardcore game for them, same thing that applies for Halo or Resistance, you love this game? then yourself will think it’s hardcore because you think it’s awesome.

I normally despise your site. I hate the ‘Nintendo is perfect’ attitude when they clearly sold out with the Wii!
Not a bad list, LBP is the bomb. MGS4 is far superior to SFIV! Although SFIV is still quite good.
But where is Killzone 2?

Stubacca – this list was made a few days before Killzone 2 was released. It wouldn’t make sense for them to include a game on this list without actually having a chance to play it first.

Uncharted is the worst horrible game ever. The fighting system is boring and annoying, and the platforming part was … boring
Metal gear solid four isnt worth 500$ to play.

Assasin’s creed REALLY FUCKING SUCKED.

Uncharted should’ve been higher and Assasin’s
creed should be nowhere near the list but good list.

SSB is one of the few fighting games that is not a button-masher.
