Mail Bag: May 28th, 2008
Hey guys, it’s been a while since we posted any fan / hate mail, so this week we have quite a few emails to share with you. The first one is from Don From Alterverse Games:
My name is Don from Alterverse Games LLC
We are a small game company that signed up as one of your friends on MySpace, under the name Don (Ich Bin Geek)
We are so with you on this logo contest, we are going to drop you a few entries for fun, also if you are all gmaing and the like we might want you to do a play test for our new CCG that we are coming out with, and if interested some cross advertising, our web site is being designed as I type.
The CCG is called REALMS and its a D20 base game. We if you are willing would provide you with a free to keep game, with instructions, and all we ask is that you play it and give a review….
Let us know what you think…

Alterverse Games LLCThe next email comes from “Dana” and is in regard to our logo contest:
Dear Old-Wizard,
If I win those panties I’ll let you take them off me with your teeth.
Dana
Next we have another email regarding our logo contest, this one was CCed to “Santa Claus”:
Dear Santa Claus,
Merry Christmas! Are you and your elves busy getting ready for the holidays?
I have been very good this year. I created some logos for the Old Wizard Website and hope they get picked. The winner gets a T-Shirt and some edible panties. Although, I am worried that if I win I might get add to your naughty list, I want to wear the shirt and panties together and get them both really, really wet. Is that naughty? I’ll let people eat the panties off of me, which is sharing right? So I should stay on your good list. This year, I hope you will bring me some fun toys.
Love,
Roxy Star
P.S.
Rather then leaving you cookies, I’ll wear the panties to bed, feel free to have lick or nibble, I think they’re strawberry flavored.Yum…
The next email is from “Webmaster”:
Old Wizard,
I enjoy the content of your new website and visit often to see the new updates. I think the idea and concept of Old-Wizard is excellent. It also confirms my suspicions that there are people like me out in the world. I would like to see more RPG content on the site.
I would appreciate it if you took the time to look at my website: www.lewisvillelegends.com. My site was created to keep a running track of my gaming group’s RPG campaigns. The site is still fairly new, but it contains two ongoing campaigns: D&D and Star Wars. I am still learning html code as I work on the site and would appreciate any constructive criticisms.
If you deem the site worthy, I would appreciate a link to the site from yours. I would also return the favor for Old-Wizard.com.
Thanks,
Reed

PS – I’m glad to see GL made the top ten.
The last email is from Christine Clairmont:
Hmmm…
Would you consider dedicating a page of your site to cell phone games? There’s no better way to blur a commute than to have a game or two on your cell phone.
Also – Cell phone games are a great way for gamers to still game even when they are away from their computer/interface!
Some games like ‘Snake’, for example, don’t need any explanation.
However, I was looking for ‘Uno’ for my cell phone and came across a game called ‘Uno Freefall’. The problem with most cell phone games is you can’t preview a game before you buy or subscribe to it (and sometime a game is $8 bucks a pop!).
It would be nice to know that there is a place to go to find out if a game is great or lame before I purchase it.
Anyway.. Do or do not. I just wanted to mention it.
END TRANSMISSION.
That’s it for this week. If you want to send us an email and have it published here, just email us at oldwizard.com@gmail.com. Hate mail is always welcome!
